SpringThings afghan blocks pattern

With pride I present SpringThings

SpringThings is a new design and the squares are interchangeable with Halloweenies and WinterSquares (for people who like unique combinations). The squares are designed for any or scrap yarn:
Per square (12 in total) you need two contrasting colours of 90 m, 100 y each

The bonus pattern, SpringThings Babyblanket needs 1200 m, 1350 yards each, but please use a light fingering yarn otherwise it will get too heavy.
I added more details for the yarn in the pattern and gave a full list of yarn I used for my interlocking version (see pictures, Hobbii 8/4 cotton)

As you are used of me SpringThings comes in two techniques:
Interlocking filet and Overlay mosaic crochet. Both come with small charts, written pattern, tutorials and links to examples and video’s. There is also a printable large X chart for overlay mosaic baby blanket.

Size will vary greatly depending on yarn used.
The blocks are 25 by 25 windos each for interlocking, 51 by 51 stitches for mosaic.
The baby blanket when using hook 3mm / 5 US and fingering yarn will be 65 by 65 cm, 25 by 37 inches. The mosaic version is 151 by 201 stitches (excluding border), the interlocking version is 77 by 101 windows
