Zen Tangle Horse pattern

With Pride, I Present: Zen Tangle Horse!

My testers absolutely love the versatility of my Zen Tangle designs, as they bring so much texture to a blanket. Inspired by my Ollie, Cats, and Dogs patterns—and thanks to suggestions from my amazing group members on FaceBook—I’m excited to introduce my creation: Zen Tangle Horse!

As with all my patterns, Zen Tangle Horse is available in two techniques:

Overlay Mosaic Crochet

Interlocking Filet Crochet

Both techniques include right- and left-handed written patterns, along with:

✔️ Step-by-step tutorials

✔️ Video guides

✔️ Pictures & charts

✔️ Large printable charts

✔️ Available in English, German, and Dutch

Recommended Yarn & Materials

For best results, I recommend Stylecraft Special DK due to its wide range of colours. I strongly suggest using a light background colour and a dark foreground colour to prevent “negative eyes.”

Overlay Mosaic Crochet (with Envelope Border)

Hook Size: 4mm (US F)

Yarn: 10 balls of each colour

Size: Approx. 120 x 160 cm (47 x 63 inches) (Size may vary based on yarn, tension, and hook size)

Stitches/Rows: 231 stitches x 313 rows

⚜️ Border: 18 rounds

Interlocking Filet Crochet (with Simple SC Border)

Hook Size: 4mm (US F)

Yarn: 8 balls dark foreground colour (2360m / 2500y), 7 balls light background colour (2065m / 2250y)

Size: Approx. 110 x 155 cm (43 x 61 inches)

Windows: 115 x 155

Print Wisely – Save the Forest!

Since this pattern includes multiple languages, techniques, and left- and right-handed versions, please print only what you need! Consider using a digital device instead. (I personally use Foxit PDF Editor Free, and my testers recommend the KnitCompanion app.)

I can’t wait to see your Zen Tangle Horse creations! Happy crocheting!
