ICE FLOWERS & SNOWFLAKES AFGHAN SQUARES
Ideal as a stash eater and scrap consumer.
The squares are small (51 x 51 stitches, 25 x 25 windows) and depending on the yarn used it is a potholder, pillow cover or together a lap throw
Ice Flowers comes with 16 different patterns all for Overlay Mosaic and Interlocking Filet crochet in the round (from the centre out) and row to row (bottom up)
So you get 16 different patterns in 4 techniques.
They are easy to combine with my other small squares as they are all in the same size.
Here under a yarn indication per square (as yarn usage depends heavily on tension, yarn thickness and hooksize)
Hook size 1,5 mm: 10 by 10 cm (4 by 4 inch), 50 m (55 y) two colours
Hook size 2,5mm: 20 by 20 cm (8 by 8 inch), 75 m (83 y) two colours
Hook size 3mm: 23 by 23 cm (9 by 9 inch), 80 m (88 y) two colours
Hook size 4mm: 30 by 30 cm (12 by 12 inch), 90 m (100 y) two colours
Because the pattern is modular you can combine the squares as you like and they also look great inversed colours (almost like a new pattern)
